Vintage Pair of Glazed Pottery Salt and Pepper Pots
This is a comfortably chunky pair of Farmhouse-style Kitchen Salt and Pepper Pots with plastic stoppers in the bases. The Pottery is coloured in a seasonal saffron glaze that was so typical of the 1970's. Bring on Autumn!
Condition: Good. The glaze is crazed in places commensurate with age but this is not easily visible to the naked eye and does not detract from them is any way.

Vintage Pair of Silver Plated Ice Tongs
Bag an example of fine workmanship from Elkington & Co who introduced the electro-plating process to this country in 1840. Their dating system shows these claw end tongs were cast in 1934. Imagine the clink of ice in a long glass, Poirot on the Nile - pure Art Deco!

Condition: Good. A horizontal scratch on one side of the tongs. Otherwise slight scratches commensurate with age.

The lead crystal (24% Lead) Bowl, made in the '70s still has its original label detailing 'Genuine lead crystal made in Western Germany'. It is hand-cut and etched with a flowing flowering leaf design and a latticework base - so wonderfully heavy and tactile!

Vintage Small Pair of China Ribbon-Style Wall Plates
Pretty in pink! This delightful pair of bijou white China ribbon-style Wall Plates are transfer printed with garlands of pink cabbage roses and accented with gilding. Decorative and feminine, so they would look great as a feature on a Bedroom or Dining Room wall or as Trinket Plates on a Dressing Table; the choice is yours!
They do not have any identifying factory marks but are probably English in origin.
Condition: Good. There are original tiny grey marks in the glaze on the body of the Plates and the gilding is slightly worn in places but this does not detract from them in any way and adds to their vintage appeal.
